On the combat field, life and death can hinge on a single, quick decision. I made those decisions numerous times during my deployments while in the U.S. Army and even translated my invaluable experience into customized training programs for U.S. military and law enforcement agencies in North America. The extensive experience gained through worldwide deployments and critical medical operations management of a 500-person team during combat prompted me to explore solutions that could save lives under the harshest conditions. Most recently, I have applied my dynamic leadership, straightforward communication style, and continual push to move forward to building a medically innovative product that preserves the temperature of blood for use in combat and other extreme conditions. The multi-vertical growth opportunities are endless, and I have excelled in helping to advance the concept from ideation to manufacture and purchase by early adopters such as the U.S. Department of Defense. I like to keep moving forward, so navigating challenges and testing limits are innate to me. A nimble relationship-builder, I thrive in collaborative environments requiring clear-cut decision-making, strong financial acumen, and actionable strategic planning to drive corporate goal achievement. This ranges from product development and cash flow management to strategic marketing positioning and prospective corporate acquisitions. Cementing my well-honed leadership skills is my experience as Chairman of the Board of Delta Development Team (DDT), where I’ve spearheaded and advanced discussions about corporate growth, profitability, and multiyear goals. Bonus fact: I appeared in the Discovery Channel’s 2003 documentary, “America’s Secret Soldiers.”

Chief Executive OfficerDelta Development Team, Inc. Aug 2018 - PresentTucson, Arizona, UsA harsh reality of combat is the lack of available blood to treat soldiers injured in battle. That’s why my partners and I ideated and translated our concept for rugged, mobile, and battery-operated refrigerators for temperature-controlled blood products for use on battlefields and in other extreme settings. Our concept advanced through the three phases of the stringent Small Business Innovative Research program—a major accomplishment—and resulted in the award of four provisional patents and manufacture of our high-quality, American-made product. We pride ourselves on adhering to the highest possible standards for medical device companies as part of our push toward commercial sales to early adopters, such as the U.S. Department of Defense. As part of product development, I also present and win buy-in for “push the envelope” changes as part of my quest to counter challenges to deliver revolutionary products. -
