I am an extremely hard-working student studying Engineering Science at the University of Western Australia on a pathway to achieve a Master of Professional Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. I've always been a very imaginative person with a constant flow of crazy, fun, and brilliant ideas flowing through my head but I could only imagine if they were real. I knew I wanted to embark on the journey of becoming an engineer when I came to the realisation that through this discipline I have the potential of making these ideas in my head a reality. As these ideas were predominantly technological innovations I decided that electrical & electronic engineering is my best chance of making this happen. When I was 15 my love for math and science grew as I came into a better understanding of the beauty of the two and how powerful they are in practice.In my spare time, I enjoy challenging myself in designing and implementing personal projects including:Installing an amplifier, subwoofer, and lightbar in my car. This gave me practical experience in designing and implementing a circuit involving a relay, fuses, and the importance of grounds. These projects required basic soldering of wires together and t-tapping pre-existing circuits in the correct node to implement a switch.Designing and building an arcade machine and smart mirror with built-in LED to be used as a makeup mirror by programming raspberry pi's and constructing casings with woodworking techniques which were first drafted in AutoCAD.I have extensive hospitality experience from working at Boost Juice Bars since 2017 wherein 2019, at the age of 16, I was promoted to the position of Team Leader by showing I was capable of being in control of a fast-paced work environment by floor managing, being trusted to conduct stock management, stock ordering, and store banking, and by being a great role model to other staff members.In August 2020 I got the opportunity to experience working full time for my father's company, Chambers Fencing, where I learned to overcome the physical and mental toll of working a hard labour job full time while learning the trade skills of fencing which involves completing duties such as removing old fences, determining new fence lines, digging trenches, positioning fence elements, working with asbestos, and working with power tools.
