About Aiman Ahmed

I have MSc in Telecommunications Engineering with almost nine years of experience, starting as Installation Engineer with Ericsson Sudan - BSD - for 3 years, and then as a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network license controller for 18 months and lately as a Radio Access Networks Integration Engineer, for which I had gained my experience mainly within WCDMA and LTE portfolio (RBS, RNC, ERBS, 3GPP, HW/SW, Interfaces and protocols). This, among other experiences, like LINUX environment, Shell Scripting and Java Scripting.Career Progression:Support sales activities to the customer, including studies.Plan and execute the implementation of product configuration, migration and integration work.Prepare System and module tests.Identify and drive improvement to the customer networks.End to end technical understanding of the customer networks.Achievements:Launch of the first 3G network in Khartoum city 2008.Expansion of 3G network in Khartoum and western provinces on tight scheduled delivery, 2009-2011. Responsible for swap of Huawei 3G network by Ericsson 3G network in Port Sudan city, including installing and testing of new software features to expand the network capability 2011-2012. Launch & operation of new 300 LTE Radio Base Stations in Khartoum on 2016.
