I am a Central Michigan Graduate with a B.S with a concentration in Microscopy. My degree is a talking point since Microscopy is a unique degree. My journey with science began when I was a child. One of my first goals was to become a scientist and I am currently working to achieve that. The first leg of the journey was developing the passion for research while at Central Michigan University. I had the opportunity to dive into my studies and conduct research with Professors and other students. My passion and desire to be the best did not stop there. Post graduation I received my first invitation to work at Charles River Laboratories where I learned the skills to propel my future as a scientist via histology. I then accepted a position at Pfizer as a contractor working in the microbiology lab where I learned skills to enhance my understanding of microbes and how they function. I have come along way and my skillset is like no other. I have continuous desire to learn and to help others. Science is what I do.
