Leading Data Governance & Analytics at the Indiana Department of Revenue, I bridge the gap between data insights, opportunity, and risk mitigation. As a member of Indiana DOR’s modernization team, I helped guide the future of the Department as we selected and implemented a new integrated tax system. This project was on time and on budget, earning core team members like myself the 2023 Governor’s Public Service Award. Previously with the Department of Revenue, as Fraud Operations Manager, I provided strategic direction to our analytics and identity protection efforts. I managed dynamic fraud filters and identified weak points to prevent revenue loss. Additional responsibilities included management of vendor contracts and representing DOR in joint efforts with other agencies. Prior to joining the Indiana Department of Revenue, I spent over five years in a tax office environment, during which I served as Manager of Information Technology. I also advanced into a role of tax advising, where I was able to discover my passion for customer interaction process management.
