In this position I helped maintain and develop the core infrastructure using Terraform and assisted in enhancing theAPI that was build in Python using the Fastapi framework. I then solely developed two front end systems that wouldallow non api users to access the platform which I built in React using Tailwindcss for styling. The platform was builtto enable automated probing of a domain and all its assets as well as finding information such as subdomains,associated domains and probed their IPs and Ports.

Brought in as a contractor to assist in modernising their stack and automate the infrastructure. I did this by utilisingPulumi as it was a low cost and easier platform for juniors to pick up and utilise in their code with limited knowledge,which was the requirement.

In this position I was originally brought in to move their content site for the Top Gear TV show from drupal to aheadless cms system. The front end was written in React and had utilities such as storybooks and jest and wasdeployed via jenkins. This then was extended to automate a lot of deployments as well as making infrastructure ascode.

Sole purpose for this role was unifying all daa from external models to a source of truth model that was built inAthena to generate different data runs allowing for different exporting. These were important due to the fact this datawas used for trading and required to be as accurate and in real time. Using AWS Glue and Sagemaker to do a lot oftransforms levied by Athena allowed for a constant stream of data from sources and data scientists that enabled awealth of information to be sent through to the API. Visual tooling was built using React.

I was the Technical Lead for the covid response namely the vaccination history api (Covid Passport). I dealt withmany aspects of the response which included data migration and management surrounding patient data andspecifically their vaccination data. I was in charge of data migration in which included obfuscation of sensitive dataas well as working on the forms section that included the front end portion into the Covid Pass app. Also dealing withautomation to printing companies that would send out a letter of vaccination results for a user
