I started contributing content online and in print in 2005, and I created BurnAllZombies.com in 2007, to feature entertainment news and reviews. The site had some cult success and I was solely responsible for marketing and engagement along with most of the content. BurnAllZombies closed in 2011 to avoid any conflict of interest working at Sky and I turned to longer-form content. I have since published two novels, two non-fiction books and several shorts and collaborations. I market and promote all of my own work across all platforms, and provide marketing, editorial, design and advice to other publishers.

I returned to a part-time role in November 2015 while working on my digital skills and some creative projects. The role involves project management and operations in an outbound call centre, with a focus on quality and compliance.

Sky Media are responsible for commercial airtime of over 30 TV stations in Ireland, including BSkyB channels and third-party offerings by UKTV, Viacom & Discovery.The Airtime department act as account managers with operations-focus to maximise campaign delivery and viewing experience. This role requires an overview of the market in the UK & ROI, utilising systems unique to the broadcast industry: Landmark, TechEdge, Caria, Ariana (equivalent to AdWords, DoubleClick, Salesforce.) Airtime are involved with all elements of the campaign footprint, including agency deal-book, costing, booking, planning, copy clearance, live management, post-campaign analysis and reporting. This department also took responsibility for systems, scheduling and compliance. Key stakeholders were the Sales, Traffic, Ratings & Commercial Ops teams, advertising & creative agencies, Clearcast, OFCOM & Broadcast Authority of Ireland.I started this role as Assistant, promoted to Executive in 2012 and acting as Manager during 12 months’ maternity cover. This department relocated to the UK in May of 2015.

Managed fieldwork across all projects and acted as point of escalation for queries and complaints; responsible for ongoing productivity and quality control checks.Responsible for screening and training of new applicants.
