After Parabox Studio, I finally got the job on the leading animation company in Malaysia, Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. (LCP)I work as a modeler, specifically character modeler. My work consist of modeling characters with correct anatomy. Anything involved from humanoids, machineries, creatures and animals were done by character modeler. This job also require us to rig and texture the model. Rigging is quite unusual for modeler since it is a specialized department. Nevertheless it proves to be valuable skill set.During my time as a character modeler, the industry evolved. So does the workflow of 3d modelling. I was able to pickup sculpting using zBrush. Though this skill set is not included in the contract, it proved to be vital in character creation especially creatures and animals.The company has lots of IPs and each are very unique. The collaboration between Tsuburaya Co. LTD, creator of Ultraman, was by far the most challenging as it involved both IPs in one episode. I was lucky to have the chance to work on it. I work on most of the IPs and each are not without their challenges. The most exciting IPs for me is Pada Zaman Dahulu. The IPs are painted texture style and because of my previous job, I was able to fully utilized my painting skills.With all this skill set, I was able to participate in LCP movie production, Upin Ipin Keris Siamang Tunggal as the main character modeler. Production starts in 2014 and was released in 2019. The movie was also Oscar Nominated for best animation standing along with Toy Story 4. I believe this moment was the pinnacle of my career with LCP yet. The movie is available in Netflix to watch.After the movie, I was invited to research for 2 more upcoming movies/series, Puteri and also Dongeng Sang Kancil (DSK). The teaser for Puteri and DSK have already released and the production for the movie will follow next.

I work as a Scale Modeler not long after graduating. The nature of business for this company is that they provide miniature models such as condos, stadiums, high rise buildings and also product prototyping. The miniature models were served as a "display" to aid customers in purchasing their homes.As a Scale Modeler, we were tasked to read architect drawings using Autodesk Autocad or Adobe Illustrator and import it to laser cutting machine using materials such as perspex(acrylic) or MDF. The laser cut pieces were then painted and assembled together for the final products.As my first job, it stray away from what I've learned in my studies. The company was relatively new and small. So we had to do everything. The processes were very hands on and involved all stages from reading drawings to the final products. I was able to pickup airbrushing and laser cutting management skill. The whole process was very excited, dangerous and fun.Alas, I quit this company as they had no proper salary and payment system.

Intern at MFX Sdn Bhd as a 3d Artist. Provide 3D assets such as models and textures. It is a post production company where the clients are all over the worlds. As to that, I work 6 days a week and my shift changes weekly where my work starts at 5pm - 1am. My work consist of 3d modeling. Using Autodesk Maya as their preferable, I modeled and textured 3d assets such as cars, planes, and hard surface objects. I was able to work on big clientele such as Proton, Tropicana (Twister), Garuda Airlines and many more. I was adapting to Wacom and by the end of the intern, I was able to fully utilized it. It was so efficient that I've purchased one right after internship using the student loans (PTPTN) to aid in my studies.During my intern there, I learned as much as I possibly could. Learned about the industry, environment and the culture too. Steal as much techniques and workflows of 3D animation and apply it to my final year project. I reported my daily task as per University's requirement and I duplicated another of it as a memento. This internship matures me and proved to be valuable experience as I know what to expect later down the road.
