esponsible for financial, strategic, operational and administrative functions of the Department. Management and financial responsibility for professional billings in excess of $80 million dollars annually, with an annual operating budget of more than $29 million dollars. Administrative responsibility for; Orthopaedic surgeons, non-surgical physicians, physician extenders, fellows, residents and all administrative support staff. Clinical services include all Orthopaedics sub-specialties: Sports Medicine, Shoulder, Spine, Hand, Foot and Ankle, Pediatrics, Trauma, General, Total Joints, Rehabilitation, and Oncology. Services provided represent more than 100,000 provider visits and 8,000 operative cases. Represent the Department in strategic planning and analysis for ongoing proposed health care initiatives; represent and coordinate physician and clinical services; coordinate clinical improvement and outcome projects; represent Orthopaedic services in managed care contract negotiations and other contractual agreements as necessary. Principal business and financial advisor for all Orthopaedic services; including coordinating marketing strategies, business planning and development, specialized program development, and coordination of all clinical and academic activities.
