As a medical imaging assistant, it is truly about teamwork in making the flow of each modality go as smoothly as possibly. I would bring back a patient for their exam and ask the appropriate questions while getting them ready for the technologist. Depending on the exam I would also administer an IV. In doing my job it is very important to make sure the patient was a comfortable as possible requiring me to adapt appropriately.
