Activities Director for Remix Clubhouse program

I am working as an intern with my adviser to help prevent underage drinking in rural counties in Georgia. We are working with the Be the Wall campaign, Sticker Shock, and, Families in Action.

I was the forwards' captain on my club rugby team for my senior year of college. While in this position, I learned how to be a better leader and serve as a communication channel between the team's coaches and players.

As a Safer Sex Ambassador, I co-facilitated presentations and discussions concerning the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) through effective barrier methods and education on the different infections. I also tabled many events where I helped pass out barrier methods and information on STIs and how to prevent them. As a group, we helped design a free service from the University Health Center where students could submit requests for different safer sex materials to be delivered to their dorms or picked up from the health center.

For nearly three years, I practiced customer service by helping customers with their needs. I also provided training to new employees at the different stations.
