The Colönia Design StudioColönia is an emergent design studio based in Porto, Portugal, focused on creative direction, branding escort and communication design. Colönia’s work favors an ideas-led approach and the development of strategic conceptual thinking for personal or collective clients, whether in cultural or business environments.Parallel to client’s commissions the studio develops self-initiated projects to speculate on design possible futures and experiment with narrative proposals from the fields of critical design and design fiction.The Colönia Micro-galleryThe Micro-gallery showcases a program of three exhibitions a year, and presents artists and projects in the realm of technological innovation in art and design. Created as a place-specific gallery window facing the street at the Colönia headquarters, the space works as a platform to promote emergent approaches to new media and placing local and international creative talents in context.
