• Key role in the Trade and Investment Life Sciences team promoting inward investment into Scotland and aiding Scottish companies to internationalise, particular focus on AsiaPac region.• Key Responsibilities include; management of the stem cell and asia life science operating teams; sales and marketing; enquiry generation and account management; organising and partaking in foreign exhibitions, missions, learning journeys and client visits, inlcuding technical seminars; exhibiting at and attending International conferences; Governmental meetings and minsterial support; networking; proposition development; liasing with Life Science companies, KOL’s and academics in Scotland and hosting inward international client visits. • Select Achievements include; responsible for inward investments into Scotland by AsiaPac Life Science companies, SDI Stem Cell sector specialist and SDI lead at international Stem Cell conferences, supporting both trade and investment. Market visits to clients and exhibitions in Australia, Japan, India and USA. Well established network of Life Science professionals in the AsiaPac region. Currently studying for the Advanced Certificate in International Trade from the Institute of Export.

• Key Responsibilities included; direct sales including Strategic accounts and large pharma, enquiry generation, client meetings both offsite and hosting, conducting technical seminars e.g. Ion Channels and GPCR's, extensive travel, presenting at meetings and conferences (both oral and poster), organising own meetings, exhibiting, proposal writing, marketing, product launch, advertising, working to strict deadlines and targets. Infection Biology Group, Department of Pre-Clinical Veterinary Science• Projects: Analysis of host mitochondria from Toxoplasma infected cells; Determining the mode of action of the antiprotozoal drug Nitazoxanide in Giardia lamblia; Analysis of the phosphoproteome of Toxoplasma gondii.• Technical skills: 2-DE, DIGE, Finnegan LTQ Mass Spectrometer, MALDI MS, SeeQuest and MASCOT software, human and parasite cell culture, presentation of research, responsible for PhD and graduate students.
