As Business Development Manager for SSI SCHAEFER, I lead the sales process and acquisition of new customers. I was responsible for consultative design and sales of complex semi-automated and fully automated materials handling systems, including preparing detailed data analysis, which forms the basis of the initial warehouse design concept. The role includes detailed data analysis to form the basis of an initial warehouse design concept. The design is further developed with influences from the customer, external consultants, architects, builders, project managers and local and international design regulations. Along with the design of the automated systems, my responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimations, preparing manning level and ROI calculations. Writing of detailed system descriptions, generation of sales proposals and evaluating third party equipment supplier’s quotations and designs.
