Served as Chief Legal Officer and a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Vroom, an e-commerce company that sought to redefine how used cars are bought and sold by bringing the entire process on-line and on mobile.

As CLO, I was responsible for management and oversight of legal matters and corporate governance at Greenhill & Co., a global independent investment bank listed on the New York Stock Exchange. My multifaceted role included serving on the firm-wide executive committee, counseling investment bankers on transactions, working with senior management and the board of directors on matters of corporate governance and directors’ fiduciary duties, and overall participation in firm management as a member of the senior executive team. I had overall responsibility for legal matters globally, including SEC filings, litigation matters and coordination of inside and outside legal resources.

My experience at Skadden spanned many areas, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, corporate finance and general corporate law. I handled acquisitions, dispositions and mergers of companies, subsidiaries and divisions — public and private — in both strategic transactions and financial sponsor transactions, as well as joint ventures and restructurings. I advised clients on matters of corporate governance and fiduciary duties and was selected as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA.I advised clients in a broad array of industries and business sectors, including finance, technology, retail, industrial and gaming, and advised international clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the United States, including clients in Japan, Australia, Russia and Canada. As part of my general corporate finance practice, I advised on public offerings and private placements, particularly in con­nection with private placements of equity securities and initial public offerings (IPOs).I also chaired Skadden’s New York Office Diversity Committee and was a member of the firm’s Global Diversity Committee.
