The goal of the program is to encourage more minorities to pursue research in STEM fields. Morayo Adeyemi’s ultimate goal is to become a Computer Science Professor and researcher, with a special interest in Computer Graphics and Machine Learning.

Conducted research under Dr. James Landay and PhD student Parker Ruth at Stanford University, using wearables to measure human health.• Developed predictive models (Linear Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors, Convolutional Neural Networks) for blood pressure estimation usingtonometer data.• Improved KNN model performance by 30% through K-means clustering, grouping similar pulse shapes to enhance predictive reliability.• Identified a 35% accuracy gap between real-world tonometer data and simulated data, providing critical insights to refine noninvasive blood pressuremonitoring techniques.

In the ExploreCSR 2022-2023: Socially-Responsible Al for Computational Creativity program. Researching Visual Computing.Developed system to check whether interior scenes datasets are biased towards Eurocentric interiors.Our project won 1st place award for the ExploreCSR projects.

Interned at Google, in Mountain View during summer of 2023 as a Software Engineer STEP intern, SWE internship for freshman/sophomores. Worked with Google Ads Smart Alerting team, by making algorithms for analyzing data and validating configuration data.• Migration of Python constant variables to a Google based system using Google infrastructures to move and depreciate the variable to aid pipeline to be lightweight • Created mocked test cover test where the Google infrastructures failed in implementing the migrated variables callings• Utilized RPC functions to call on Google file systems API to validate that users custom configurations are correct• Created internal tests for clients validating backend Ads database analysis and a feedback system for Clients to know if they contain valid information needed to receivean Alerts. In addition, using the test to validate serval Google Ads infrastructures need in onboarding teams• Researched how to create a whole system checking binary changed reported results though implementing/editing design documentation

Part of the first cohort for the "Howard University Global Experience(H.U.G.E)" program sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center-Howard University. I gained insight into JP Morgan Chase’s goals as a company, their usage of technology and gained leadership skills.

Took an Intercultural Communication and STEM course in Berlin Germany with CIEE(Council on International Educational Exchange). Learnt about how STEM interacts with people of different cultural background.

Teach young children computer science languages such as python, HTML, unity , java, and more. Formulate lesson plan that fit to each students abilities while creating fun activity for the young students to be engaged and interested in the various application of different computer science languages.

I gave an exhilarating experience to the guests that attended the Chevy Chase Country Club banquet services. I stayed on staff even though there was a significant shortage of workers. Reason for leaving: school was resuming.

I was an intern at the Society for Family Health Nigeria facility in Oyo Nigeria. While working with the employees, I got to see how running a nonprofit organization was like. I also got to see how much change the organization brought up in their communities and the ways they were attempting to maximize that change. The project that I worked on with them was called Adolescents 360. Adolescents 360 is a project that assists girls between the ages of 15 to 19. They target girls in less privileged communities that go to public schools or don't go to school at all. Their goal was to give the girls a voice. We provided one on one counseling, self-improvement classes, and pregnancy preventive methods such as sterilization, implants, IUS, IUD, etc. for free. We also provided classes to teach the girls how to reach their maximum potential by teaching them how to be independent, teaching them entrepreneurial skills and how to stay safe in their community especially by maintaining safe health including hygiene, staying healthy, preventing sexually transmitted diseases, and avoiding teenage pregnancy which could hinder them from achieving future goals.
