Lead the risk management function for the Retail Banking division. This includes oversight of enterprise-wide governace and risk programs, trending and analysis of risk/exposure and providing guidance on wide range of governance areas (Compliance, QA/QC, Regulatory requirements, examinations, AML/BSA and Audit.).Along with my team, we develop and implement risk programs aimed at identifying risks associated with key processes of the Retail franchise and ensuring mitigating controls are present and operating effectively and efficiently.

Lead quality assurance, control validation, testing and review for the Retail Banking channel. Create reporting to all levels of TD Bank management with focus on trending and process improvement. Oversee Retail Banking's Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process and Business Continuity/Resumption planning.

Provide direction and leadership to all Retail Banking channels with respect to Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and Vendor Management. Focus on ways to implement operational efficiencies in the areas of compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsible for oversight of Retail Bankings self monitoring of applicable regulations. Respond to gaps in compliance with applicable regulations by recommending organizational or procedural solutions. Develop and implement solutions to close gaps.

Worked with the Retail Branch network on areas of policy, procedure and guided several medium to large scale projects.

Held multiple positions within the bank during my tenure, including: Teller, Call Center Rep., Branch Supervisor, Call Center Supervisor and finally Operations Manager. Employment with current employer (TD Bank) occured during a January 2002 acquisition of Andover Bank.
