With over 15 years of experience in diplomacy, policy analysis, and human rights advocacy, I am currently serving as Consul General of Mexico in Nogales, Arizona, where I lead the promotion and protection of migrants' interests and rights as well as social and economic development projects.As a career diplomat, I have worked in various regions and countries, including Ghana, the United States, and Mexico, developing and strengthening partnerships with governments, NGOs, and the private sector to advance policies and initiatives on human rights, migration, development, and security. I have also contributed to the resolution of human rights cases in international organizations, such as the United Nations and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.In addition to my diplomatic and legal skills, I have a passion for humanitarian photography, which I use as a tool to raise awareness and empathy about the impact of migration flows on receiving communities. I have exhibited and published my work in various platforms, such as Cuartoscuro and Nubuke Foundation, and received recognition for my photography, such as the 2019 Maghreb Photography Awards. Through my photography, I aim to capture and share the stories, aspirations, and challenges of migrants and refugees, as well as the resilience and hospitality of the host communities.
