Technical Project Manager - Common Avionics Architecture System - Vh-60N
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States
- Led software change-, test-, and resource-planning for presidential suite - ensuring efficiency and maximum value creation for each year’s avionics software upgrade contract.- Met with customer weekly to understand their pain points in order to define software change priorities for the year. I would also engage internal teams to ensure alignment for coming year.- Set-up and managed agile development that resulted in bi-weekly customer demos where we showcased newly developed functionality to ensure alignment with customer expectations.- Developed key relationships within customers organization (pilots, software, and program management). This allowed us to build trust and to communicate effectively, allowing us to come up with valuable creative solutions, in turn creating longterm commitment and rapport.- Managed development through Jira, where I created tickets for software defects. Each ticket was reviewed by a Change Control Board by key stakeholders, including the customer, program management, and engineering teams. Depending on assessment, each ticket was dispositioned appropriately. This list was reviewed towards the end of each year with the customer to help identify software changes for the upcoming contract.
