Low level device drivers, inter-processor communications, and DAC/ADC sampling/filtering. Created Lua based manufacturing calibration and test environment. Ported Intel PXA270 based WinCE 4.2 system to Atmel AT91 WinCE 6.0. Device drivers included GPIO, I2C, SPI, RS-232, and Dallas 1-Wire. Hardware design review, board level bringup, RTOS setup, signal integrity testing, and general BSP support.

Wrote device driver code for set-top box systems such as in DishNetwork or DirectTV DVRs. Worked on the subsystem that de-multiplexes MPEG-2 streams and distributes audio and video content to the rest of the system.

Responsible for aiding product engineers in getting their products to market by providing software feature development, algorithms, and debug support. Developed audio processing code at the DAC level and display drivers for LCD/OLED displays. Contributed to new SOC feature requirements.

Developed firmware and USB Linux host driver for a network enabled digital security camera. Performed CMOS imager capture and frame buffer processing. Designed and implemented motion detection algorithms, auto-exposure and white balance features. Wrote preliminary patent.

Designed and developed communications protocol software in C++ for Mobile SpeedPassTM product integration. Added support for new EEPROM parts to Linux kernel flash device drivers. Setup Linux flash file system for data storage. Built gnu gcc cross compiler and C libraries for Power PC target. Used Rational Rose for use case analysis and UML object oriented software design.

Developed AT command set for a CDMA wireless phone on Nucleus OS. Performed feature and release planning.

Developed Windows software for a PC hosted digital panoramic camera. Wrote DLL device drivers for an ISA based line-scan camera interface card and a serial port controlled stepper motor system. Designed and implemented GUI in Visual C++.
