I am a cancer biologist with 8 years of experience in molecular techniques as well as breeding and experimenting on mouse models to student papillomavirus pathogenesis. Specifically, I've studied the origins of disease using genetically engineered mice and found that specific cells can contribute to the cellular composition of squamous cell carcinomas, but not dysplasias.I've also performed work using tissue culture to generate virus, perform luciferase assay to look at ways to reduce viral infection, and determine susceptibility of tissue to viral infection. I was awarded a PhD in Cancer Biology and am interested in pursuing careers which have a positive impact on the world and represent novel challenges.
