To effectively simulate and verify interlockings prior to deployment trackside.• Facilitated verification testing of IROBE test equipment (powered by National Instruments hardware).• Produced and reviewed documentation outlining different test processes for a variety of test hardware.• Created drawings and diagrams of wiring and pinouts for suppliers to produce hardware from.• Utilised Labview graphical programming software extensively.Placement 2 – R&D Mechanical Engineering• Designed & prototyped active cooling for power boxes.• Simulated thermal analyses to demonstrate effectiveness of active cooling.• Value engineered a PSU module and TPWS module to use common front plates and implemented changes to design and its dependencies through Teamcenter.Placement 3 – Mass Transit• Worked on the Central Line Life Extension (CLLE) project.• Produced a test specification for the innovative virtualisation system intended to replace the current, obsolete control center hardware.Miscellaneous• Obtained Certificate in Railway Control Engineering Fundamentals with the IRSE.• Assisted test teams on the Core Valley Lines & Port Talbot West projects.• Produced progress trackers for the above projects.• Volunteered in multiple school career fairs & supported 2 college students working towards T-levels.• Presented to groups of year 10 students during their work experience week.• Developed a signalling 'game' demonstration using Python.

• Undertook many roles working as an administrator in the start-up phase of a large warehouse in Sheffield.• Managed old orders on the JDA system, ensuring there was no back-log and produced hourly reports for management.• Led the customer service team that handled complaints/enquiries directly from the retailer.• Trained and led a team of individuals that dealt with shortages in JDA.• Used Microsoft Excel extensively.
