I graduated from Eastern Illinois University (Summer 2024) with a BA in Political Science. I majored in International Relations and French. Throughout my studies I took courses relating to domestic politics: African American Politics, US Government, Political Theory; and international politics: Introduction to International Relations, Comparative Politics, International Terrorism, and Politics of Sub-Saharan Africa, alongside a myriad of French studies, and interdisciplinary electives in Economics, Geography, and History. During my third year at EIU, I spent a semester abroad in Paris, France studying French at the L'Institut Catholique de Paris. This gave me new language outlets and experiences abroad: traveling, communication & comprehension skills, and adaptation to new environments.At Eastern, I was eager to be involved in organizations and hold leadership positions. I have held numerous positions over the last three years in our Student Government (Senator), Model United Nations (Secretary, Vice-President, President), and within Sigma Sigma Sigma Alpha Psi (Vice-President of New Member Education and Recruitment Director). These outlets have allowed me to grow my communication and leadership skills within each discipline.
