With 20+ years of experience in the digital media and software industries, spanning an array of platforms, I’ve been involved in virtually every aspect of digital media production and software design and development. Currently a partner and co-founder of Digital Wisdom, a technology and media asset portfolio holding company, I also provide consulting services to the media technology sector through Panache Productions.I was Creative Director and Technical Director of Creative Planet, a Los Angeles based concern I co-founded in 1997. Begun as a network of communities empowering creative professionals, the company grew into a technology centric company (of nearly 400) that produced software and online solutions, backed by world class content resources, for the film and television production community. We created and integrated the most comprehensive suite of technology-based project management and information resources for the entertainment production industry.Previously, I was CEO of AND Interactive, an L.A. based interactive design and production company that I co-founded in 1989 with computer graphics pioneers Robert Abel and Allen DeBevoise. Prior to this, as AND’s Chief Architech (a combined Creative Director and Chief Technologist role) I designed and directed several multimedia authoring tools and hold patents related to this work in the fields of multimedia annotation and interactive navigation.With a focus on Human Factors and Interface Design, I’ve contributed to more than 150 productions and software products since 1985.
