I am a fourth-year student at Savannah College of Art and Design pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, accompanied by a minor in Furniture Design. Since my start at SCAD, I have been honored as a member of the dean’s list each quarter in addition to maintaining a 4.0 GPA. My strengths include listening, collaborating, being detail-oriented, adapting, and being deliberate. I take in what others have to say with meaning. When it comes to design, I consider the client’s taste, needs, and values to design an aesthetic functional space to fit their necessities. I believe that collaboration is key in the field of design, as working in a collaborative environment sparks creativity, assists with problem-solving, and encourages innovative thinking. Additionally, every little detail matters and holds value, and should be well thought out. I face challenges as they come and work through them with determination and am purposeful with each decision that I make. Regarding my career, I am currently striving to work as a Junior Designer, working alongside experienced employees at a top design firm. I am in the market for a summer internship opportunity to work alongside experienced designers to strengthen my knowledge and experience in the interior design field, preferably within the Southern New England area.
