CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:Rotated through various areas of the hospital including critical care units, progressive care units, emergency department, labor and delivery, medical/surgical, surgery, radiology, telemetry, oncology, pediatrics, and behavioral health;Provided care to a diverse population including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatrics;Collaborated with other healthcare professionals, to plan, manage, and assess both adult and geriatric patient treatment plans in the neuro progressive care unit with a bed capacity of 22;Monitored three to five assigned patients, updated information on vital signs and progress of treatment, and documented data related to patients' care including assessment results, interventions, medications, patient responses and treatment changes on electronic medical records;Ordered and evaluated diagnostic tests, as indicated, with preceptor nurse;Administered blood product transfusions and intravenous infusions, while monitoring patients for adverse reactions;Provided wound care to patients with amputations, ulcers, ostomies and surgical incisions;Engaged with patients and family members in patient/family education.
