• Created operational, contractual, and financial analyses of Amtrak trains operating on host railroads. • Developed contacts and gathered information from partnerships with host railroads and other external stakeholders as well as various Amtrak departments including Business Lines, Law, Scheduling, Government Affairs, and Finance. Interpreted and presented information to identify trends, root causes, and predicted impacts to Amtrak train performance from operational changes. Communicated these findings to internal management and external customers in support of performance improvement initiatives. Worked extensively with host railroads to ensure compliance with contracts while representing Amtrak’s overall position with regard to operational and performance goals.• Managed and directed Amtrak employees, outside consultants, and student interns on special temporary assignments in support of departmental initiatives (i.e. conductors for special duty rider program, outside consultants for analytical support of STB litigation, and summer intern on special assignments).

• In addition to the responsibilities listed under the Supply Chain Analyst I role: Supported the development and implementation of the Vendavo pricing system focused on improving current reporting and daily pricing activity.• Enhanced current strategy for manufacturer increases with the intent to preserve and capitalize net margin as well as address all outstanding issues that result from these price changes. Communicated this information weekly within the department and to all regions of the organization. Received acknowledgement for this implementation. • Worked to support a strategic pricing initiative to generate an additional $35 million of annual margin. This involved working with external consultants on the development of a strategic pricing tool to enhance the current daily monitoring of items contained on the PRxO Generics formulary.

• Performed daily pricing activity on the PRxO Generics formulary for over 8,000 items while maintaining contractual price conditions for over 100 customer specific price files associated with daily pricing activity.• Monitored competitive data submissions with the intent to advance the responsiveness of generic pricing at an item and customer level within a dynamic generic pricing environment.• Performed both quantitative and qualitative assessment of various pricing, inventory, and formulary issues while managing price performance and providing analytical support to the Generics Pricing team.• Coordinated new generic product launches by assisting in communicating the required information for successful implementations of the product launch both internally and externally. • Enhanced the existing audit processes to more quickly identify and address pricing issues.
