Whether through music, writing or art, my passion has always been for storytelling and creativity. I spend my time writing my novels, practicing my instruments and finding like-minded people in the world to share my passion and excitement for art with. I want to work to share stories through many different forms of media and build my skills throughout my career.I am a current Script Writer Intern at Electronic Arts, working with the Motive team based in Montreal. I am developing a new understanding for collaborative story creation and improving on my communication skills within a team setting. This job is giving me so many new and exciting opportunities to learn and experience working in the game industry. I can’t wait to see where it takes me.My other main mode of storytelling is through music. Studying Trombone Performance at McGill University has not only improved my musical skills but also connected me with other amazing musicians in the industry. I have been able to participate in the wind ensemble at McGill, multiple pit orchestras for the opera program and different orchestras and jazz bands around the community. The large music program at the school has also allowed me to join early music ensembles as well which hasn’t only given me the chance to learn how to play the sackbut but has also greatly improved my understanding of music throughout history and how it has become what it is today.
