Responsible for all wireless deployments including 150+ Industrial IoT systems using 4G, Wi-Fi, MBR (Maritime Broadband Radio) and AirMax. Working from Rotterdam I interface daily with colleagues in New Zealand, Italy, Finland and elsewhere, touching all aspects of the product lifecycle. Primarily, I am focused on Technology Development efforts, for the improvement of future products. Activities include developing company-wide standards & Best Practices, creating documentation and training based on those efforts, and managing relations with suppliers to ensure our technology roadmap.Also contributing significantly to troubleshooting and solving problems in Cavotec's existing networks and wireless deployments, including remote and on-site work on Industrial Wi-Fi and IoT 4G installations. These efforts have lead to new Best Practices and improved customer satisfaction. Following online training (Wireless WAN Networking and Routing) from Cradlepoint to become a "Mountaineer" and Voice-of-the-Customer for Cavotec.Working towards the deployment of SD-WAN technologies.
