In this position, he leads commercial operations for 55M acres of Corn, Soybean, and Wheat production, and specialized products including the Grain Marketplace, Indigo Carbon, and Indigo Acres. He restructured the team, personally secured industry-leading customers, and has driven growth by 30% month-over-month throughout 2020. Before joining Indigo in 2019, he spent 5 years at The Maschhoffs where he oversaw 120+ employees producing 4.8M live hogs per year across 700 production sites. At The Maschoffs, he served on the leadership team that turned around company performance, improved negotiating power, and drove significant profitability. He also spent 6 years at Monsanto where he led a $500M corn seed brand, improved leadership team effectiveness for a $6B business unit, and managed field sales teams. He started his career in the United States Army where he oversaw upwards of 350 soldiers, accounted for $50M+ in equipment, and led 40+ combat raids without any serious injury or loss to life to US Soldiers in Bagdad.Morgan earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis with concentrations in Finance and Strategy, graduating in the Top 10. He earned his B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
