Throughout my third year at University I underwent a placement at Befriend a Child, where I assisted the Fundraising and Marketing team in a range of different projects.The projects I focused on were:- The Christmas Giving Tree Appeal 2022 and 2023 - Executing a marketing plan for the 2023 Kilt Walk- Sourcing information for monthly newsletters- Helping staff members plan and attend events such as Befriend a Child's Annual Ball, Bingo, Gin Tasting etc. Giving Tree Appeal 2023 - With the help from over 90 local businesses, we managed to raise almost £14,000 for children around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire who are growing up in difficult or challenging life situations.
