Research Title: Extending Model Studies to Guide Cleanup of Clandestine Methamphetamine Labs: Developing Reliable Controls

- Prepare chemical reagents, supplies, and equipment for lab set up for experiments- Perform routine lab maintenance and cleanup

Working under Dr. Irina Gazaryan on a project that focuses on understanding biochemical mechanisms for cataract formation, oxidative stress, and the genetic antioxidant program.

University-wide research grant program designed to support independent, faculty-mentored undergraduate research and artistic projects throughout the academic year. 15 students throughout the entirety of Pace University were selected into the program. Throughout the year, students were expected to attend frequent check-in meetings, work part-time on their research or artistic projects, participate in monthly research webinars, write four reflections about the research experience, present at Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry Day, and submit a research paper or artistic project once the program concluded. Observed a Pediatric Ophthalmologist during clinical duties and eye check-ups of kids ages newborn to 12. Assisted on infant eye check-ups by stabilizing the baby's head, while the doctor performed.

Handled and processed all transactions and receipts from clients and beauticians. Booked and confirmed client appointments via phone, and trained new incoming employees on the responsibilities and duties within the job.

Prepared and packaged up to 30 boxes of masks and hospital gowns for doctors. Organized all boxes to be shipped to the staff of John Hopkins Hospital
