I have 6 years of experience in critical care medicine with a strong background in surgical nursing. In 2017, I graduated from Georgia College and State University, I began working as a Registered Nurse at Navicent Health in Macon, GA where I completed a critical care new grad residency and worked in a Surgical Trauma ICU from 2017-2019. I then began working in Norfolk, Virginia in Sentara Norfolk General’s ICU Float Pool rotating through all of their Intensive Care Units(Medical, Covid, Cardiovascular, Cardiovascular Surgery, Neuro, Trauma, and Vascular/Surgery Units) from November 2019-December 2021. I have been working in a Medical Surgical ICU at UCSD in San Diego since 2022. I also have 1 year of post anesthesia care experience at an outpatient surgery center in San Diego since April 2022. I have developed a profound understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with managing acutely ill patients. Fostering strong nurse-patient relationships, actively listening to my patients’ concerns, and addressing any fears or uncertainties they may have about their medical journeys is my top priority.As an ICU nurse, I place immense value on building strong relationships and fostering effective collaboration with other medical professionals.
