About Morgan Engel

Hello! I am currently a Junior Information Science major and minoring in Computer Science in the School of Computing and Information at the University of Pittsburgh. I am passionate about helping to create solutions that aim at helping people, bettering communities, the environment, or companies with technology.Currently, I am the Director of Initiatives for the Computer Science Club at Pitt, and I have been organizing, leading, and developing both new and improved programs from previous years. This past summer, I was researching at Pitt to further the resources and knowledge of what dissuades minority students from going into the Computer Science field.Outside of school and work, I really enjoy reading, painting or drawing, and playing the flute. I am also working with the Pitt Program Council to update their current website into one that that has a better user interface, functionality, and design.
