My name is Morgan Folk, and I am a Seattle native. While I briefly lived in Spain during high school and spent a few years in Florida during my twenties, I have always found my way back home to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.For over eleven years, I've dedicated my career to working with non-profit organizations. I hold certificates in various fields, including nutrition, communication, effective study techniques, business structure and management, social media marketing, ethics, and philosophy.During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I ran a home-based business focused on crafting masks and other handmade items. I also contributed to those in need by donating additional masks.In addition to my creative endeavors, I rediscovered my passion for reading during this period. Since 2020, I've read more than 100 books each year. If you're ever in need of a good book recommendation, feel free to ask!Currently, I proudly serve as the Director of Admissions at the Laurel Academy. My six-year-old son attends kindergarten there, and our school is committed to the education of children from 18 months to 5th grade. We offer a variety of programs, including a toddler class for ages 18-34 months, four preschool classrooms for children aged 3-6 years, and three classrooms for our K through 5 program. We're also excited about our plans to expand our offerings up to 8th grade in the coming years.
