Build on industry relationships with wedding planners, vendors and venue managers to expand business. Member of 2 person team responsible for all fundraisers, exhibition openings, offsite events and private rentals at the Museum.Fundraisers: 2 main fundraisers each year raising over $2 million. Responsible for ticket sales, silent and live auction, liaison with all vendors (florists, catering, a/v equipment, designers, etc.). Assist in the production of all materials: tickets, journal, signage, auction catalogue; and event planning: mailing coordination, seating, décor and guest list management.Exhibition Openings: work with designers to create invitations, coordinate 5,000+ invite mailing, take and manage RSVP's and guest list.Offsite Events: plan Board of Trustee Dinners, including restaurant and menu selection.
