About Morgan Leason

I am a journalism and public policy dual degree at the University of Maryland. I have earned Dean's List status every semester and I am a part of the College Park Media Scholars program, which is a selective, subject-specific honors program.My goal is to pursue work that will allow me to apply my skills, knowledge and experiences to improve governmental accountability to constituents whether that is through reporting, data analysis or policy analysis.I am currently in my senior year at UMD. I am Editor-in-Chief at Stories Beneath the Shell, one of the campus publications. I am also a reporter at Capital News Service, a student-powered publication based out of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
