I was raised in Wyoming and am an 8th generation Wyomingite. My roots are strong in this state and i do my best to keep my morals aligned with Wyoming traditions. I was not raised on a ranch, however after my first high school agriculture class I began putting in the effort to create a lifestyle I would be happy in. I have day helped and worked seasonally on several ranches through my high school and college career. Some including the Lone Star Ranch in Casper, Wyoming and One Bar Eleven in Saratoga, Wyoming. I was also very successful during my time in FFA and even served as a state officer in 2019-2020. I completed two years at Casper College with an associates in general agriculture then transferred to the University of Wyoming where I received my bachelors in Agriculture Education with an educational focus on Agriculture Communications. I believe that my drive and work ethic is what sets me apart from my peers and my passion for agriculture has been my motivation. I have devoted my career to advocating for the industry and even joined clubs in my college career that have led to association memberships for my professional career. An example would be my time and service for Alpha Tau Alpha, an agriculture educators club that has an emphasis on professional development and community involvement. From ATA I have been able to join the alumni for ATA, join WATA, NAAE, and ACTE.
