I am an Accounting major in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. When I was first exposed to an Accounting course in high school, I knew immediately it would be my major in college. Once I graduate with my Bachelors degree, I will begin my masters degree. I will then be eligible for the CPA exam, and intend on pursuing a career as a CPA. My experience as a kitchen expeditor within the hospitality industry, has enticed me to improve my detail-oriented approach as I strive for 100% accuracy and refined my communication skills. While working under pressure I have been a successful liaison between both kitchen and wait staff while simultaneously maintaining a sanitary and well organized work environment. I am seeking internship opportunities in the Greater Boston area to build on pre-existing knowledge, gain additional experience, and improve my Accounting skills.
