This position has allowed me to grow immensely as I have been able to advance from an internship role to marketing manager. I have been responsible for all content batching and social media scheduling. Furthermore, I have been a key collaborator on several fundraising campaigns that contribute to Impact Society's mission to provide every youth with the tools needed to build positive mental health. Working alongside a small yet diverse team has allowed me to become versatile as I support each department and improve my collaboration skills. Through my work I have been able to improve my knowledge on multiple platforms including MailChimp, Meta Business Suite, Squarespace, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe and Canva just to name a few.

This position allowed me to gain confidence within a sales position. In this position, I developed sales and pitching training as part of the on-boarding process which built a foundation for successful sales skills. I worked part time in conjunction with other work experiences where I would be placed at multiple locations across Calgary and beyond where I was tasked to bring in new Neo members. This was a challenging yet rewarding experience and I am grateful to have contributed to a fast growing Calgary Unicorn company!

This is a remote internship which has allowed me to work behind the scenes creating content for a sports social media page. This role focuses specifically on the NHL and other hockey news that is brought to app users in creative and interactive ways. This has allowed me to collaborate with individuals all over the world through both content creation and interaction in the app. I have been able to utilize marketing skill sets from creativity, to team work. Most importantly, this has taugh me time management skills as well as scheduling in order to ensure everything is posted in a timely manner.

This position gave me my first glimpse into the oil and gas sector as well as the world of marketing. I was very fortunate to gain a summer business admin position where I got to experience many different roles throughout the plant. Through this position, I was given the job of running reports for propane, butane, and condensate and sharing them with all parties involved. Furthermore, I was in charge of checking truck and rail tickets as well as ensuring that everything was entered into our databases correctly. Finally, I assisted with filling and organizing, as well as helping out with company events wherever possible. This role helped enhance my knowledge of the industry and uncovered the importance of being detail oriented. It also highlighted the significance of strong communication skills in plant scenario where the collaboration of all departments is key to success.
