ND is in the process of permitting a waste disposal facility, which will allow the company to dispose of TENORM waste where generated. MT and CO are currently updating rules regarding disposal. MT's proposed rules more tightly regulate disposal facilities, increase reporting, and increase financial assurance for disposal facilities. CO is conducting stakeholder meetings and will conduct the rulemaking in 2020.
