Supporting the implementation of Planet Youth Scotland.

Responsible for the development, management and high quality service delivery of a mental health and wellbeing service aimed at families in Fife. I was instrumental in influencing stakeholders and writing a successful bid which resulted in securing significant funding to establish and run the service. The success of the service has depended on creating and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and key partners. The service is now up and running and I have responsibility for the supervision and support of a team of professionals as well as support, guidance and consultation to various other services within the locality. I am extremely proud that my team and I have created bespoke packages of support and psychoeducation for partner agencies to support their own, and their communities mental health and wellbeing.• Driven the management, organisation and assurance of excellent high-quality delivery of; 109 groups and workshops, training 1360 external staff, and direct support to 1259 children, young people and parents/carers within 18 months. • Provided expert mental health and wellbeing support and consultation to a range of staff and professionals.• Responsible for ensuring that staff are mentally well and able to deliver high quality, safe practice through therapeutic support and supervision.• Driven the establishment of effective metrics on service delivery through monthly and annual reporting on impact and outcomes.• Achieved significant results in improving the confidence and capacity of staff to feel empowered to support themselves and others.• Ensured compliance, data protection and high quality file-keeping.

Developed a new service based on community co-production to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and families as well as improving the confidence and capacity of existing services and professionals. Delivered person-centred therapeutic interventions in both a 1-1 and group capacity to diverse members of the public and professionals.• Assessing risk and creating risk management plans for individuals.• Developing workplans, process maps, service measurement and outcome processes.• Creating a strong brand and service awareness raising/networking.• Advocated and supported the role out of evidenced based therapeutic models adopted within the service which is now being rolled out across the whole of Fife with significant financial support.• Recruitment, induction and support of a new staff team to create a strong, supportive, hardworking team culture.

Providing therapeutic intensive family support to families with high child protection risks. Creating bespoke support packages based on individual needs utilising a range of approaches including; CBT, DBT, coaching methods, attachment focused therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, solution focused therapy and interpersonal therapy with the understanding that no one approach fits all.• Developed the Staff Health and Wellbeing team which is still ongoing; supporting the connectivity, trauma informed care, and wellbeing needs of staff delivering demanding, intensive and emotionally challenging roles.• Management of own caseload and diary.• Significant mix of lone-working and team work.• Report writing & upkeep of accurate written records in line with procedure and policy

Providing 1-1 support to kinship care families as well as organising and delivering outings, summer activities and wellbeing get-togethers.
