With a decade+ of experience in the nonprofit and outdoor industry, I am a passionate and effective leader in equity, inclusion, and diversity, youth development, and customer service. As the Director of Student Services and Partnerships at Northwest Outward Bound School (NWOBS), I oversee, grow, and foster various programs and partnerships that support and empower thousands of students and families from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.I also designed and built the model for NWOBS's equity work, establishing the school's philosophies, policies, and standards for inclusivity, and creating and executing a multi-year EID strategic plan. In addition, I served as the NW regional representative on the national Outward Bound EID group, and assisted in designing a new field staff compensation plan that is aligned with the school's values and mission. I am driven by the vision of creating more equitable and inclusive opportunities and outcomes for all people, especially those who face systemic barriers and challenges.
