A recent UOW Business graduate, with an interest in marketing and events management. Last year I completed a marketing internship, allowing me to gain experience in account managing, campaign development, brand managing and digital marketing.I have worked in the hospitality industry for over ten years and have recently been coordinating events for a café, and marketing them accordingly through social media and producing different types of marketing assets. I’m a ‘people-person’ who thrives off making meaningful connections with customers and collaborating with stakeholders across all levels. I am comfortable in any collaborative or networking setting, and my infectious energy is something people are naturally drawn to. Having strong emotional intelligence means I am a very effective communicator while also being very approachable. Hence, I possess the natural skill set to be a great negotiator during the planning stage of events and can build a strong rapport with clients and employees. I'm also a down to earth character adding a touch of humour to whatever I do, and you will always see me smiling!I really enjoy working with kids of all ages, and it's such a thrill for me to be coaching and mentoring my U/12's soccer team. I also enjoy fishing in my spare time and the relaxation it brings me.I am a firm believer that personal growth only comes when you're outside your comfort zone, and I look forward to my next stage of career development.
