Wrote electrical substantiation documents to support supplemental type certificates for various projects. Documents included Electrical Load Analysis, Transverse Vertical Separation Analysis, Electrical Wiring and Interconnect System analysis, and Functional Test Plans for Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Provided on-site support for modification of A321, B767, and B787 aircraft. Onsite support consists of coordinating and interfacing with other teams, along with the mechanics installing our product, and working to troubleshoot unforeseen problems that arise due to aircraft variables or design flaws. This includes onsite redesign to ensure our product is installed as smoothly as possible, so that the aircraft spends the minimal amount of time out of service. Assisted in LRU design and development including circuit design, troubleshooting, and DO160 qualification testing. Wrote functional EMI test for DO160 qualification testing. Drafted wire diagrams and wire installation drawings in AutoCAD.

Electrical design and rework of cabin systems including smoke detection, oxygen, communications, lighting, emergency exit path lighting, and in-flight entertainment, for Airbus and Boeing platforms, which include Boeing 747, 757, 767, and 777 airframes, along with Airbus A330 and A340. Familiar with production illustration drawings, and technical publications such as the aircraft maintenance manual, wire diagram manual, aircraft schematic manual, etc. Daily use of AutoCAD, both for wire routing and schematic drafting to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements. Supports fielded hardware over the entire airplane lifecycle, from initial design to prototype aircraft installation, and on-site redesign. Supplied on-site support for Boeing 747 and 757 programs, along with Airbus A330.

Responsible for daily verification of the steady state (1 Hz) data system, build up of channel lists, and simulation checkout of the steady state data system. Interfaced with customers to determine test requirements for a future engine test and worked on meeting their requirements. Also was involved in test run support for engine icing integrated systems test. Drafted facility projects in AutoCAD, and assisted in other duties as assigned.
