The Assistant Director for Access & Intervention oversees and directs multiple programs and initiatives related to Access & Intervention including but not limited to the First Things First retreat, Money Management program, Peer Consultant program, and Gamecock Gateway. In addition, the Assistant Director provides strategic leadership for academic intervention on campus. Each fall, I plan and deliver a three-credit hour course focused on student success, development, and transition into and through the University of South Carolina for 19 first-year students in collaboration with an undergraduate or a graduate student leader.Specifically, I teach Capstone Scholars sections of University 101.
