This role focuses on EDFs partnership with the UN Environment Programme in Latin America to implement clean air solutions across 33 countries. My key responsibilities include conducting policy research on transportation, climate, energy, and air quality in Brazil, collaborating with a diverse team of experts to implement and evaluate clean air solutions, and contributing to reports and presentations for stakeholders and partners.

Explored and analyzed business certifications and initiatives to convey Maine Beer Company’s commitment to sustainability. Assessed B Corp certification feasibility using company data, case studies, KPIs, value chain mapping, and strategic tools (Porter's Five Forces, TOWS analysis, Strategy Cascade). Provided recommendations on pursuing B Corp certification based on comprehensive analysis.

Conducted washing, drying, and weighing of below and above ground marsh vegetation and soil samples. Assisted in the processing and analysis of samples by calculating bulk density. Performed loss on ignition analysis to quantify organic matter and organic soil carbon. Completed South Carolina Marsh Fieldwork in February 2023, including the collection and processing of above ground vegetation samples.

Engaged as a Climate Impacts Fellow at Dogwood Alliance, focusing on projects centered around climate impacts in the Southeastern U.S. Dedicated to addressing the unique challenges posed by climate change in this region, I am actively involved in research and initiatives aimed at understanding and communicating its effects. Passionate about advocating for sustainable solutions and making a positive impact on the environment, I am committed to driving meaningful change in the Southeast's response to climate change.

NOAA Pathways Intern in Honolulu, Hawaii specializing in meteorological research and analysis. Leveraged NWS products and services to contribute to the development of a long-term climatology of sounding indices for WSO Pago Pago, American Samoa. Focused on researching heavy precipitation and flash flooding events to address forecasting limitations faced by WSO Pago Pago due to the absence of radar and insufficient climatological data.Utilized programming languages such as Python and R to parse and analyze data from the University of Wyoming's sounding website. Calculated averages, minimums, maximums, and standard deviation of Total Precipitable Water (TPW) for different time periods. These findings enabled the identification of anomalous weather events and the establishment of calculated thresholds for improved heavy precipitation and flash flood forecasting.

Engaged in collaborative research during summer 2020, focusing on outstanding problems in Atmospheric Sciences. Utilized ArcGIS Online and ESRI to create an interactive StoryMap timeline showcasing weather and climate events in Georgia. Experienced in data analysis, mapping, and presenting complex concepts in a compelling manner. Passionate about advancing meteorological research for societal benefit.

Engaged in a transformative REU experience at the University of South Florida in summer 2019, with a focus on researching water quality and purification methods for Dilaire, Haiti. Acknowledging the significant challenges faced by the poorest country in the western hemisphere, I dedicated my efforts to address the prevalent issue of waterborne diseases. Through extensive research, I explored optimal water purification techniques while investigating the impact of various environmental factors such as demographics, agriculture, and well types on water quality.In summer 2020, I had the privilege of mentoring new participants in the USF REU program, imparting knowledge and sharing my passion for impactful research.
