My current role as Business Analysis Manager is to provide high quality forecasting and business analysis for decision making across the Club and Foundation. Through my current role, I am responsible for the completion of the Club wide budget, forecast and business plan, working with all business units, finance team, COO, and CEO to play an integral role in the reporting function of our business. My responsibility for reporting also includes working the AFL to deliver Club AFL Reporting inclusive of quarterly forecasts, CFR, TPP and Soft Cap reporting. In addition, as a part of my role I manage the finance team through the audit to ensure a strong end of year result is delivered, and clear and concise financial statements are presented. My current role allows me to work across all facets of the business, gaining a greater understanding of how departments of our club operate and building strong professional relationships with my peers and senior leaders. I have built strong relationships with the Club & Foundation board members by attending, presenting, and overseeing the operations of the bi-monthly F.A.R.M meetings for both the Club & Foundation.

My role as an audit senior associate involved taking the time to understand a business, including its profit drivers and key risks to maximise an organisation’s potential. Through this role, I gained valuable insights into the operations of a range of businesses, management styles and accounting systems utilised. I endeavoured to provide value to my clients and offered solutions to a range of organisational issues. The requirements of this role often led me to working on multiple engagements at once with strict deadlines and stringent requirements. I have been involved in the preparation and review of financial statements, as well as reports for management, shareholders and other stakeholders. I built strong professional relationships with my clients, peers and superiors. This role allowed me to work in teams of varied sizes and has proven my ability to adapt to a variety of different working styles, personality types and group dynamics. As a senior associate, the added responsibility enhanced my organisational, time management and leadership skills by giving me the opportunity to provide coaching to junior staff members, monitor their performance and give constructive feedback where necessary.
