I am looking to merge my love of science and passion for haircare through the exploration of a career in cosmetic science. I am currently attending the University of Louisville, pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology. Over the course of my college experience, I have taken not only biology courses but an extensive amount of chemistry courses as well. I have also nurtured my love for writing while attending UofL and would take great pleasure in some form of a technical science writing career. A vast majority of my skills have been gained from UofL, including lots of background knowledge on organic chemistry, cellular & molecular biology, and genetic biology. As an employee, I am very motivated and hardworking. I have also assumed many leadership roles, and am very well-versed when it comes to working in groups and with customers. I worked for many years at a dental practice where my biology and chemistry backgrounds prepared me to learn new skills. I have worked with both customers and doctors face-to-face, and have gained many valuable interpersonal skills throughout my previous employment experiences.
