I’m a Master’s student at the University of Florida, and am working toward a Master of Arts in Mass Communications. While at the University of Florida, I plan to place a particular focus on learning more about public interest communications, and more specifically, how to use communications to address complex social issues and effect positive social change. I'm also a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate classes, and I'm currently the Teaching Assistant for a Principles of Advertising class. In addition to being a student, I’m also a member of the North Carolina Governor’s School Foundation’s Board of Directors; as a Board Member, my efforts primarily go toward Governor’s School’s social media and other publicity efforts. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in both Media and Journalism (with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations) and Communications (with a concentration in Rhetorical Communications) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
